Hicks Thomas is pleased to announce that partners John B. Thomas, Courtney E. Ervin and Robin L. In 2023, he was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates, an exclusive group of the nation’s leading trial lawyers and judges.
Ms. Ervin focuses her practice on high-stakes commercial litigation. She has a wealth of experience handling energy-related and insurance coverage litigation, and her clients include businesses in industries such as oil and gas, energy, insurance and construction. Ms. Ervin has been honored by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers. She was recently named a Premier Women in Law by the Association of Women Attorneys-Houston.
Mr. Harrison, who is board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, focuses much of his practice on cases involving breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud and misrepresentation, professional liability and business disputes. He has been recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.
