HOUSTON – Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce that four of its senior counsel have been named to the exclusive 2019 Texas Rising Stars list. This honor, based on peer review and research, is given to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Texas.
This year’s honorees and the practice areas for which they are being recognized are:
- Abbie Sprague for Commercial Litigation. This is Abbie’s fourth year in a row to make the Rising Stars list. Her work includes construction, real estate, employment and bankruptcy litigation
- Nicholas Zugaro for Business Litigation. His litigation work includes bankruptcy, real estate and a variety of business matters, representing clients that range from Fortune 500 companies to individuals.
- Leah Graham for Business Litigation. Her practice includes commercial arbitration, securities litigation, trade secrets, labor and employment, and construction litigation.
- Kasi Chadwick for Employment Litigation. Kasi represents employers in pre-litigation investigations before governmental bodies, as well as a variety of litigation and post-judgment and appellate matters.
“We are proud of the talent at our firm, and this designation is further proof of our lawyers’ expertise and focus on client service. Congratulations to this year’s honorees,” said John B. Thomas, co-founder of Hicks Thomas LLP.
Texas Rising Stars honorees are selected by Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters’ legal division. Nominations are made by other lawyers, followed by an extensive review by researchers and a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys. Those selected must be 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. The complete listing will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Super Lawyers Magazine.
