Super Lawyers® 2016 Recognizes 7 Attorneys from Hicks Thomas LLP

By Hicks Thomas LLP

Seven attorneys from Hicks Thomas LLP will appear in the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers® listing. Super Lawyers® is a legal rating service that recognizes only 5% of the practicing lawyers in each state, and inclusion in the list follows a stringent selection process.

John B. Thomas (name partner) and senior counsel J. Stephen Barrick were selected, along with partners Allen H. Rustay, Stephen M. Loftin, Robin L. Harrison, Gregg C. Laswell, and Stewart Hoffer. In addition to appearing on this years’ list, each of these members have appeared in Super Lawyers® before.

Mr. Barrick was named for his work in appellate law, while the other members appeared for their business litigation accomplishments.

Both Mr. Thomas and Mr. Hoffer have appeared on the list since Super Lawyers® was created in 2003. Other members of the firm have made repeat appearances as well, such as Mr. Harrison (13 years) and Mr. Loftin (11 years).

Super Lawyers® is published by Thomson Reuters and selects candidates from peer nominations. Only those who pass independent research evaluations and scrutiny from a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys are named to the list. The final list will appear in two magazines: Super Lawyers® and Texas Monthly.
