Greg Koush Named in 2016 Super Lawyers® Rising Star℠ List

By Hicks Thomas LLP

Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce that Greg Koush has been selected for inclusion in the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Star℠ list. Mr. Koush has been chosen for this distinction based on his outstanding achievements in business litigation. This is Mr. Koush’s fourth appearance on Rising Stars, having appeared on the list each consecutive year since 2013.

The Rising Stars list is developed using the same multiphase selection process as the Super Lawyers list, with the following exceptions:

  • Candidates must be 40 years old or younger and been in practice for 10 years or less
  • No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state are named to the Rising Stars list, versus 5 percent of lawyers in the Super Lawyers list

The rigorous selection process involves nominations, independent research, peer evaluation. Highly credentialed in-house researchers consider a variety of indicators of professional achievement when making a decision, including honors and awards, bar activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, verdicts and settlements, and more. Candidates with the highest point totals are then evaluated by other candidates within their legal practice area before being moved on to the final selection phrase. Lawyers cannot nominate themselves and cannot pay for inclusion in the list.

Inclusion in the Rising Stars list is a prestigious honor, allowing prospective clients to confidently choose from only the most highly skilled and accomplished lawyers.

Greg represents clients in a variety of legal matters, including fraud cases, breach of contract cases, oil/gas and energy-related matters, trade secrets and covenants not to compete, shareholder disputes, employment law cases, insurance disputes, and environmental matters. To get in touch with Mr. Koush or another member of the Hicks Thomas LLP team, please call (713) 547-9120.
