Stacie uses her keen writing skills and creativity to break down complex concepts and craft legal arguments to resolve novel legal issues. Before law school, she spent seven years in sales and client services and knows how to work efficiently by perfecting workflows and using best business practices.
Stacie earned her Juris Doctor degree with a certificate in environmental law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2020, where she was a legal research and writing teaching assistant, a research assistant focusing on the energy industry and the power grid, and a student practitioner in the Environmental Law and Policy Lab. Stacie also served as the editor in chief of the Loyola Law Review, which published her student comment, and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria as an oralist and brief writer. She was named a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar for graduating in the top 10% of her class and received seven Law Excellence awards for earning the highest grade in various courses.
Prior to joining Hicks Thomas, Stacie clerked for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle in the Eastern District of Louisiana.
