Jeff Migit is an experienced trial attorney with a diverse practice that focuses on complex commercial and business litigation. Mr. Migit has represented energy-based companies, including oil and gas (upstream and midstream), renewable energy, and oil field services companies, as well as corporate and individual clients in various other industries. He has prosecuted and defended cases involving breach of contract and business torts, including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and misappropriation of trade secrets, among other matters. Mr. Migit also has extensive experience in insurance-related litigation, including ERISA/managed care litigation and insurance coverage disputes. He has tried cases in state and federal court and has handled numerous complex commercial arbitrations.
For more than two decades before joining Hicks Thomas, Mr. Migit was a trial partner with a large international law firm.
